“Retaining Georgia’s Best” – BOA Scholarship Fund

In honor of GFIC’s 50th anniversary, the Board of Advisors established the BOA Scholarship Fund, an endowment fund administered by GFIC to provide scholarships to students in GFIC’s member colleges and universities.  The BOA Scholarship Fund is intended to support the retention and graduation of talented and deserving students.  BOA Scholarships are awarded based on a yearly fall competition among sophomores and juniors attending GFIC’s member colleges and universities who apply for consideration.  The eligibility criteria include (without limitation) a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, financial need, leadership ability and participation in activities developing leadership ability, and submission of a thoughtful essay on the “Value of Private Higher Education.”
