Board of Advisors The mission of the GFIC Board of Advisors is to support independent higher education in Georgia by supporting and assisting GFIC in its mission. The Board of Advisors serves GFIC in outreach, fundraising and collaborative programs involving the member colleges and universities. The Board of Advisors stages the annual GFIC College Scholarship Golf Classic, which is GFIC's largest single fundraising event and which has raised more than $1,000,000 in financial aid funds.
