Founded in 1854, Andrew College has remained an innovative leader for more than 160 years. Today’s student body reflects a diverse community, with 57 percent minority enrollment and an emerging Hispanic population. Approximately 90 percent of students reside in campus residence halls.
Andrew’s 40-acre campus is located in the Southwest Georgia town of Cuthbert, where the Fighting Tigers compete in Region XVII of the NJCAA and the GCAA. Athletic teams include men’s baseball, basketball, golf and soccer, and women’s basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball.
The college offers a broad selection of university-parallel liberal arts courses, and the college holds more than 20 direct transfer agreements with baccalaureate degree-granting institutions. Recent additions to the academic offerings include Associate Degree programs in Nursing, Regenerative Agriculture and Timber Management, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Students engage with faculty members who encourage personal and spiritual growth on a campus dedicated to a love of learning. Other opportunities include an honors program, an active Phi Theta Kappa honor society, a robust servant leadership program and student-led religious organizations guided by our United Methodist chaplain.
As the United Methodist beacon of educational, spiritual, and cultural uplift to Southwest Georgia since 1854 - Andrew prepares students for lives of servant leadership and purpose through higher education that is relevant to its region and beyond.
