For more than eight decades, Emmanuel College has been making a lasting impression on the lives of young men and women by providing an environment that encourages spiritual and intellectual growth in a community of Christian unity, friendship, and fellowship. Today, more than 800 students from 28 states, six foreign countries, and 25 denominations come here to learn and share their faith with other Christians.
Emmanuel is a small campus community with high standards and a steady hum of activity. With 25 organizations, intercollegiate athletics in basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, and tennis, and intramural sports, there are plenty of opportunities for leadership, spiritual growth, and fun. Active community ministries keep students involved in assisting the sick and elderly, tutoring children, and planning and executing summer mission trips.
Our professors consider teaching a ministry, and they adopt an attitude of servanthood in their relationships with students. Small classes create an atmosphere of personal attention and individualized learning. At the same time, professors set high standards in the classroom by instituting a curriculum charged by their own qualifications and life experiences.
All of this academic and spiritual enrichment takes place on our serene 150-acres campus located in Northeast Georgia, miles away from state parks, recreational facilities, and other attractions. The beauty of our location, the strength of our academics and the support of our campus community make Emmanuel College a unique and dynamic place to grow.
