Georgia Independent College Association is often approached by businesses who express a strong belief in the unique advantages of a private college or university education. These companies are interested in becoming more involved in supporting GICA and its member institutions. The GICA Corporate Allies Program is designed to foster a closer working relationship between GICA and businesses. To see a current list of CAP partners, please click here.
GICA selects and invites companies to join the Corporate Allies Program. Companies who are chosen to join CAP enjoy a number of benefits. These include:
- Listing of company and a link to the company’s website on the GICA Corporate Allies Program section of the GICA website
- Listing of company name in the GICA’s printed Report to the Community, which is distributed annually to key stakeholders on our member campuses, donors, potential donors, and legislators. CAP businesses receive a complimentary subscription to this report.
- Opportunity to sponsor the annual meetings of GICA campus affinity groups, such as the Chief Financial Officers Conference and the Information Technology Retreat. These sponsorships are offered at appropriate meetings as determined by GICA.
- Opportunity to apply to become a preferred vendor in the GICA Procurement Program.
GICA CAP companies must have an unquestioned reputation for ethical business practices. GICA offers no obligations, endorsements, warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, regarding the products and services of any of its Corporate Allies. GICA also reserves the right to refuse CAP membership to any business and to remove a business from CAP membership at any time.
