The independent, not-for-profit colleges in Georgia are true partners in helping Georgia reach its educational attainment goals.  The adoption of the new REACH need-based grant program by Governor Nathan Deal provided another opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to educate all students, regardless of ability to pay.  Currently, 68% of GICA member institutions have agreed to at least match the $2,500 REACH grant for any student that chooses to attend one of the participating schools.
