GICA is pleased to announce the addition of E&I as a valuable addition to our procurement portfolio.  E&I Cooperative Purchasing is the not-for-profit buying cooperative established in 1934 by members of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) to provide goods and services to members at the best possible value.  The Cooperative is owned by its membership of more than 2,700 colleges, universities, K-12, and medical research institutions located throughout the United States.  E&I delivers compelling value to its membership, with over 100 competitively awarded contracts for a broad range of goods and services including Technology (Gov Connection, HP), Office Supplies (OfficeMax), Facilities Maintenance (Ferguson, Grainger, Glidden Paint), and Express Delivery (FedEx).

There are several key benefits of registering to take advantage of the E&I purchasing agreement:

  1. Aggregated Purchasing Power
  2. 100% Focused on Education
  3. Established & Proven
  4. Extensive Portfolio of Contracts
  5. Innovative E-marketplace

All GICA member institutions are eligible to access any of the E&I contracts immediately.  You will need to complete a brief registration page to be able to read about the agreements and utilize them.  However, this registration process is fast, easy and free.

For more information about E&I and the contracts that GICA members can now access, please contact Michael Einhorn at 954-385-8737 or 954-873-1276

GICA consolidates the purchasing power of our 24 private, not-for-profit campuses in Georgia to provide GICA members the option of purchasing select products at a discount. To defray administrative costs, GICA may receive a modest amount under some agreements made with the companies in the GICA procurement program.

If you are interested in more information regarding GICA procurement program agreements, please contact Lisa Macke, Director of Member Services, at (404) 233-5433 x24.
