GICA Compliance Collaborative
Clery Act Webinar
Thursday, July 19, 2018
1:30pm - 2:30pm
(for GICA CCP and OWH Grant schools)
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information. A component of the Act is the preparation of the Annual Security Report (ASR) and the dissemination of the ASR every October 1st. The ASR must include statistics of campus crime for the preceding 3 calendar years plus details about efforts taken to improve safety. There are numerous other required statements and information that must also be included in the ASR.
Facilitating regular on-campus trainings can be a scheduling challenge. GICA is hosting this webinar created exclusively for Compliance Collaborative and OWH Grant member schools. If you are unsure whether you represent a Compliance Collaborative or OWH member school, please contact Judy Spain. If there are other folks on your campus that would be interested in attending this webinar training, please forward this information on to them.
