Microsoft Consolidated Enrollment for Education Solutions Agreement

Enrollment for Educations Solutions (EES) from Microsoft is an annual subscription licensing program. Through EES, schools license software based on faculty/staff FTE count, rather than the numbers of computers the software is installed on. Any upgrades or downgrades of those products are included through the term of the subscription. Microsoft EES is a simple, flexible program that enables you to standardize software across your campus, keep your technology up to date, and annualize your Microsoft budget.

The GICA Consolidated EES Agreement enables participating schools to combine their FTEs to qualify for Level B pricing, which is otherwise reserved exclusively for schools with a 3000-plus faculty/staff FTE. The GICA EES Agreement renews September 1st annually. GICA’s Microsoft reseller, ScholarBuys, consolidates the license demand of each school into separate enrollments, thus keeping the interests of each entity separate. Schools with existing Microsoft subscription agreements, independent of GICA, may be granted pro-rated/co-termed amendments which sync their enrollment with the GICA common renewal date in order to leverage the discounted pricing.

As an additional benefit, schools participating in the GICA Microsoft EES Agreement may offer Work at Home (WAH) rights to their faculty and staff members via Electronic Secure Download on for just $19.95. Use the green box on the left side of the page to find your school.

Microsoft Select Agreement

Microsoft Academic Select Agreement offers individual educational institutions a flexible, volume-based program designed to help reduce total cost of software ownership through perpetual licensing.   Select Agreement provides volume licensing for schools that are able to forecast their license needs over a three-year period. Each product within Select License for Academic has an assigned point value, which allows your institution to establish a special Academic price level by meeting a minimum forecast of license acquisitions.

Leveraging the aggregated purchasing power of GICA members, the Select Agreement’s forecast and license acquisition requirements are waived, allowing all GICA schools the ability to purchase perpetual licenses, from an agreement designed for high volume buyers.  For schools participating in a Microsoft Campus Agreement, the GICA Select Agreement can supplement your school’s need for products not included in the Campus Agreement.  Schoolsnot participating in a Campus Agreement may utilize the GICA Select Agreement to purchase all of theirMicrosoft products at a discounted price.
